Get your rods and tackle boxes ready! Groupe L’Île-du-Grand-Calumet is thrilled to invite you back to the water for our 8th Annual Fundraiser Fishing Derby on Saturday, August 8, 2026. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-time fisher, come down to the municipal dock at 287 chemin des Outaouais for a day of community, competition, and conservation. Fishing runs from 7 AM to 4 PM, followed by our awards ceremony at 4:30 PM. With categories for kids, teens, and adults, plus a BBQ, 50-50 draw, and fantastic prizes for the heaviest catches, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy. Don’t forget to pre-register online to secure your spot and help us make this our biggest fundraiser yet!

The 170th Expo Shawville Fair returns to the Shawville Fairgrounds from September 3 to September 7, 2026, offering a quintessential blend of agricultural tradition and modern thrills.
